The Top of the World Highway (tow) runs from Dawson ,Yukon to Chicken, Alaska. The highway gets its name because it runs on the top of the mountian range and there is some terrific views down into the many valleys. The Canadian portion is partly paved, partly gravel and in good condition, the Alaska portion is narrow and is dirt, not even gravel and it had rained earlier so was muddy and slippery.
THe views are certainly worth the drive
There are no shoulders and no guard rails, Paul would love this. NOT
I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles. Would make a good song.
