The Alaska pipeline, it is running at less than 40% capacity, the Purdow oil field is running out and the US government won't let them drill for more, and the price of gas is sky high. Still importing oil from unfriendly countries, People here are not happy about that.
These guys do maintenance and check every cable once a year. Look closely at the top cable, there is a guys working there.

I though the north pole was in Canada, but there is a second one here in Alaska, but the real Santa Claus is in the north pole Canada.
